Executive Summary
Ryan is an associate lawyer in the firm's Kitchener-Waterloo office. Ryan maintains a broad practice and provides advice to employers on a wide range of labour and employment matters. Ryan articled with the Labour Practice Group of the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat where he conducted legal research and provided legal opinions on a wide range of complex labour litigation issues, including employment accommodations and pension and benefits.
Ryan completed his undergraduate studies at Lakehead University, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Media Studies and Criminology. Ryan obtained his Juris Doctor degree at Queen’s University in 2023. While at Queen’s University, Ryan worked for several legal clinics including Queen’s Legal Aid, the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic. Ryan also provided services as an upper-year tutor to other law students and as an Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal.
